I want to live a meaningful life. A flourishing life. I thought I had a good life before 2020–and I did in many ways–but was I flourishing? What does it even mean to flourish?

I look at the world around me in the way that I do and (at least for now) I want to record it in this old, vintage way

I love the feeling that I get when my characters’ situations suck me in and even I don’t know what’s going to happen next

I want to tell my story to others who may have similar struggles, with the hope that if I can help anyone else my experiences have not been in vain

Writing this book might be the most challenging thing I do in my life, and also might be one of my greatest accomplishments
