This year is something I’m so excited about. My blog is up and running, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for myself for so long but never found the time for, and so many lovely things are happening in our lives. Our twins turn three in March, and that’s something I cannot wait for. They start school soon, so they’re going to grow and change, and we’re going to have more focused time to work so we can focus more on the kids when we’re done. I’m excited, and I hope you are as excited for the New Year as I! I’d love to hear your goals, resolutions, or plans for 2017. We have no travel plans at this time. The van is doing well, but has remained parked since our last trip to Texas to visit Melissa’s family. The only change is that we upgraded my DVD player to a Blu-Ray player, unlocking access to Melissa’s vast movie collection inside the van. We were on a bit of a disaster movie kick, but then the storms that brought tornadoes closer than we wanted slowed that down a bit.

The layout I have chosen will have all contents of the website on one page, adding to the simple design. I have chosen to be informative of what the art of music really is and have done the same with my other articles backed up with relevant images I took during the photo shooting stage. I have also included a Spotify playlist which has the ability to open up the reader to new songs and have some of the classics which I want them to enjoy. This along with the idea of having weekly ranking lists I believe will not only inform, but generate a talking point for my readers to have their own personal opinion on.

What does sustainability mean to me? With my present and future plans, the definition of sustainability can have both a broad and a minuscule meaning. If I were to give you a broad version of this definition, I would say that sustainability means that I will live out my dream and maintain the life I had built. This could expand from my job and family to my outside life. However, my minuscule definition would include present events.
