I loved my class and apprenticeship even more than I expected and have been drowning myself in further education this past year.

As a writer, I used the rather loose excuse that any additional experience was good, ultimately beneficial to my skill as a writer. Putting aside the general point that having a wide range of interests is generally beneficial for any lifestyle or career, it took me some time to realise that many of my interests related to one thing, that I ultimately want to express through my writing.

I hope to post this photo on my social media, so that my friends can know that I am a person who likes to travel and enjoy life. Even I can make more friends who share the common interests with me.

I also intend for fellow nurses to engage, meet new people, learn from one another, and take away this as a chance to have in common goals, likes, and interests with others.

I have to do it at one point or another. And this is very different from high school because I was never taking classes that I thought would be good for my career, I just took classes that interested me. There is a much bigger selection of classes in college than there is in high school, so I’m hoping that will be very good for me.

I am searching for a clearer understanding of who, exactly, I am as an individual. I know who my parents want me to be. I know how my friends, across varying groups, interchangeably see me. I know how my peers perceive me from what I post on social media. My personality feels like a multi-faceted Venn-diagram: all of the different categories have nuggets of accuracy that contribute to who I am as a whole, but the overlapping center where all of the circles connect is a mystery.

Kind of like work experience in any places you think you’d like because I assume there’s way more people like me who have no idea what they want to do still and this might help us choose something. Is that a bad idea let me know your thoughts? I’ve always been jealous of people who knew what they wanted to do since they were in school it was something I never knew. The only thing that every really came up was I’ve a business head so something in business but that area is SO BROAD there’s so many different parts to it.

I am creating this blog to write book reviews of environmental books I find interesting, to flag up sites or knowledge that I find interesting, and to try and get a better idea of the career I want to pursue.

I have a lot to tell. Pretty funny that I have just said that. For the longest time I believed that I had nothing interesting to say, that my life wasn’t as exciting as people thought. But I see that now, I have a pretty damn interesting life. From my childhood to my newly acquired adulthood. My stories will be both happy and sad. I’m looking forward to have you laugh with me, cry with me and hopefully encourage and give hope where I can as I tell my stories and document my life.
