I have decided to specialize as a UI Artist, so have been working to improve my software and art skills. I wanted to put my [newfound] skills in web development to the test and create a new portfolio

A portfolio that would highlight my artist style and show cast not only the best of my school work but my personal work as well. This was a tough process for me, considering my art style consists of bright colors and have a cartoon feel to it so many color pattels didn’t not fit what I was going for and I’ve never made a my own website before. I want to keep being creative every day!

I work mostly from home to write books and work on my art. Since (officially) July of 2024, with a couple art markets in May to test out the waters, I’ve been a full-time artist and writer. I have several hours a day to work on future books and I am creating art to sell online and at local art markets. This idea first started as a few months off, but I am going to continue it, at least until summer, to see if I can keep expand the growth I’ve seen in the past few months.

I wanted my son to know he would never be restricted by anything, and I would be there for him no matter where his adventures took him

I am by no means a fantastic artist, but I pulled from the hours of hanging with my grandmother and have created an “Adventure Awaits” painting every year since. My grandmother created many amazing paintings throughout her life and seeing them means everything to me, especially now that she is no longer with us. I am hopeful the paintings I create will hold a special place in my son’s heart.

I have been a student at Noroff before and I got to learn quite alot about website development (Front-End). This was a very challenging but interesting journey that I went through and I do not regret any of it! I learned quite alot and I was able to understand what is behind the websites that we see almost every day. The reason to why I chose Graphic Design through Noroff is because I know that I was satisfied with the course I took earlier and Noroff teaches relevant stuff for their students. I was introduced to Noroff through an education exhibition when I was looking for places to study after I graduated.
