Now that I had my cabin delivered, complete with locking windows and doors, I will share the building of this off grid homestead, herb farm and eventually the on-farm market. I’ll talk about how I did it in a tent compared to how I’m doing it today, if I did it in a tent at all. I’m excited to share as it’s been hard not to this whole time!

Cool flowers prefer colder temperatures and when we plant them in the fall and winter months, they allow us to have flowers in the spring and summer that normally don’t do well here in Arkansas in the summer because of the heat…such as snapdragons, larkspur, sweet William, Bupleurum, and Bells of Ireland. I’m nervous and excited all at the same time about the spring. I can’t wait to see blooms! Stay tuned…I’ll be sharing with y’all as I go!
