I made myself feel BEAUTIFUL by taking care of myself for real for the first time ever. I bought clothes that fit my body now, not my pre-pregnancy body that still laughs at me when I look in the mirror. Wearing clothes that fit me made me feel more confident and happy with my body now.

Getting paid would put too much pressure on what’s mostly just a fun project

It doesn’t take much of my time (about an hour of my week) and what benefits it does have are worth it to me. I can’t make any great argument that this work directly supports student recruitment and retention but it’s not doing it just to do it. Not to me.

It’s just basic but also cute. I think on my birthday it would just be me and my close cousins having fun the whole day. I mean it’s nice but I was hoping to travel on my birthday and I can’t since there’s a pandemic. I am just thankful to reach the age thirteen and to celebrate my birthday with my family and maybe friends.
