I want my work to find an audience

It all started with a single roll of 120 ILFORD HP5+ film and a Rolleiflex 3.5F over the Independence Day weekend which fell on a Monday this year. It was the Friday of that long holiday weekend and I loaded the roll of film in the Rolleiflex and took the camera for a ride to McIntosh Lake in Longmont Colorado (USA) in the hopes of finding worthwhile photo subjects. My goal was to find street portraits and storytelling photographs.

I made [use] of the books as her prop

I want it to be a bit serious, since she is, and sweet looking at the same time because that can be both her personality. In the photos, her facial expressions portrayed her sweet identity, with cute overall outfit and a slight smile. Then, eyeglasses and fierce face to represent her seriousness. She is easy to work with, and really follows the poses I advise her to do.

I want to gain more experience in portraits — they aren’t my favorite photos to take however they turn out interesting

I wanted to show a variation of different models within my blog and therefore I spent a bit deciding what to use. The right one and left one have been edited and the middle one of Spencer was just resized. The left one was originally a half-body shot, however I needed a headshot.
