This post was a little chaotic, but my life has been too. I applied these changes and have been at school for less than a month. I felt more peace in the first week than in my Ohio decision the whole 1 1//2 years I was there. My mentality has changed, and I am proud of my changes. I am more mature than when I started in Ohio and more discerning.

I find my ideas usually emerge from the work I am doing. If I am having a problem, I figure that others will also. If I find something interesting, others might find it interesting as well. Finally, if I just learned something new, then others might want to learn it as well. Whatever I am working on, whatever rabbit hole I have gone down–each serves as fodder for a possible class, presentation or institute course. I never lack for ideas. It’s a bit narcissistic, but it works for me.

University felt a bit like a transitional period from teenager to adult and now I feel like I have nothing to hide behind now even though I still don’t want to be an adult. I was having so many existential crises over where I should be living and working whilst actively trying to avoid making a decision about any long-term plans. I contemplated moving to Glasgow, switching jobs, taking online courses and started looking at masters programmes because without the student lifestyle, I lost my way quite a bit. However, it’s evident from talking to me or reading my dissertation, that Edinburgh is a huge part of my identity and giving it up by moving away wasn’t going to be the cure that I thought it would be. Instead, I moved to a different part of the city, the West End, switched to a full-time role at my job and started taking myself out on dates again.

I wanted to speak for audiences and make a difference in the world. I believe that I can be the sunshine on a cloudy day and show my light to those that may be struggling. I want to inform people about what is most important and teach them how to be successful. I have prepared for this goal by attending my communication classes and by starting a Communication Studies club at Grand Valley. I wanted to be a part of something that was greater than myself. I will continue to prepare and to work hard to accomplish my goals. I want to inspire others and grow into a better person and role model for people to look up to.

This phase of my life was when I started to realise that I’d changed so much in a short period of time, it was crazy. Before University, I didn’t go out very much and I had quite a small circle of friends, I also didn’t have very much confidence and my mental health wasn’t doing great. But after just a few months at University, I really started to notice changes, I was truly happy and felt like I had found somewhere that I belonged, I didn’t feel judged and felt included within my friendship groups, allowing my confidence to shine through and help me to become the best version of myself, this was the life I had always longed for. So to any current or future students reading this, be yourself and your confidence will shine through, this can feel different and scary to begin with, but as students we need to recognise that change can be good!

We are a good and happy family but a day comes that caused me a trauma. When I am in school when I am in grade 9 ,a one call from my mom made me cry in the classroom. My mom said that they went to hospital and they find out that my father has cancer and it is stage 4. They do all the needs of my father,the chemotherapy and a year of fighting it my father died. That’s why I like dark rooms , I am overthinker and traumatized. I was usually doing things like having fun with my friends,dancing, reading wattpad books.I always do go to church and always thank God for always there. The girl who always bored do that,I also stan a k-pop group named BTS and my bias is Park Jimin,since the day I know them my overthinker and conscious self fade away.
