What I’ve noticed about myself as a writer is that I tend to go off how I’m sounding like in my head. Don’t get me wrong I feel like that isn’t such a bad thing but sometimes or actually all the time I feel that when I’m writing I’m saying it loud enough in my head but when it comes to reading it [out loud] later, I always find a mistake. Goes to show how much [I] proofread which has always been a problem with me.

to use my voice as a megaphone not an echo. To face the unknown with other around me but fearless because we have a known God. Maturity is like a new room, I’m finding where things should go, rearranging, painting, decorating and making this new perspective a comfortable home.

I think it’s important to not suppress your individuality, as it is what makes you, you. Actively practicing being unapologetically yourself aloud is a great habit to adopt, if for whatever reason it does not come naturally to you. I want to use this blog to talk about anything that I find interesting. If you’ve ever heard my voice, it’s extremely monotone. Sometimes I get told that I seem very nonchalant and calm all the time but deep down my sock is wet and there’s a stone in my shoe (I jest). But like everyone, I’m incredibly passionate about the things that I’m passionate about and expressing that passion is important, so why not blog? I presume that writing regularly improves your writing skill, and although nothing is formal about this blog, I would like to get better at writing.

It was a reflection of what I felt deep down inside, things I am passionate about, things that may not be that prevalent or applicable in our day to day lives, but things that I do for myself and make me me! And next time someone strikes a conversation about one of those things, there is nothing stopping me from loosening up and jumping with joy.
