I firmly believe in trying new things, pushing your limits, and exploring, and all of these things are exactly what I will be doing. Maybe I will learn to paint or face my fear of the rock wall, or even sign up for an intramural sport. As a teenager and young adult, I wanted to be a writer [but] it became apparent that I did not have the dedication or talent to become a published author

[Stories] have been told through the generations and because they focus on human emotions and failings they are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago

I want someone who can handle my chaos without trying to shrink it

I was trying to convince myself I was happy, that I was where I wanted to be, where I should be — despite every instinct in my body telling me otherwise
