I am currently taking a class called Digital Journalism 1, which entails me to create a blog. My blog for this class is going to be focused on my old high school’s football team and their 2022-2023 season. There is a lot of work, grit, sweat, and tears that are put into a season by these students. To be able to show an audience their season and also hit a target audience that has a lot of interest in either high school football or specifically Cherokee Chiefs football, is the main goal and mission I am aiming to hit.

As a teenager and young adult, I wanted to be a writer [but] it became apparent that I did not have the dedication or talent to become a published author

[Stories] have been told through the generations and because they focus on human emotions and failings they are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago

I want someone who can handle my chaos without trying to shrink it

I was trying to convince myself I was happy, that I was where I wanted to be, where I should be — despite every instinct in my body telling me otherwise
