At the end of the day, it’s not about getting it perfect; it’s about being brave enough to show up as myself, with all my messy edges. I’m hoping to connect with anyone who’s ever felt a little out of place, a bit too loud, or just a tad too real for their own good. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that the most interesting people are usually the ones who don’t fit neatly into boxes.

As a teenager and young adult, I wanted to be a writer [but] it became apparent that I did not have the dedication or talent to become a published author

[Stories] have been told through the generations and because they focus on human emotions and failings they are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago

I want someone who can handle my chaos without trying to shrink it

I was trying to convince myself I was happy, that I was where I wanted to be, where I should be — despite every instinct in my body telling me otherwise
