this year was exhausting but also eye opening for me. i think it’s the year that i went through the most character development and started living selfishly for myself. i was finally learning to walk my own path, rather than one forged by others for me. i can’t recall everything that happened but here’s a brief summary of the shenanigans kiya got up to

As a teenager and young adult, I wanted to be a writer [but] it became apparent that I did not have the dedication or talent to become a published author

[Stories] have been told through the generations and because they focus on human emotions and failings they are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago

I want someone who can handle my chaos without trying to shrink it

I was trying to convince myself I was happy, that I was where I wanted to be, where I should be — despite every instinct in my body telling me otherwise
