Perhaps what I pictured as everything I wanted was an opportunity to poke holes at the grand dream I had and to challenge me to aspire for something more, something higher. Perhaps it was a moment in time to stretch my imagination and entertain the idea that what I wanted was not the best there was; even though I had no clue what could be better than that dream.

Who remembers those? Ever since then I knew fashion was what I wanted to do. But I didn’t. I followed a different route. One where I knew jobs were always going to be available and where I knew I would make a decent income. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy with my career choice. I still find it challenging and interesting. But fashion is where I really get happy!

FYI (Under RE-Construction)
Just a “quick and dirty” update.
I’ve been informed that the “theme” I chose for this block has errors (I didn’t learn this from WP; I learned it from someone who gave me this “tip”)
Apparently, the formatting used by the theme I had used actually prevented my blog from being included in “search results”.
So I changed the theme — and now everything looks different (sort of).
I will try to figure things out ASAP.
Please by patient … and wish me luck! 😀

I knew I wanted to keep working on myself because it feels AMAZING, inside and out, but that previous part of life was TOO fast paced for me

Everybody is different, but I know a slow, low key, chill lifestyle is for me. (I resonate with all descriptions of a Projector in Human Design). I discovered during the pandemic, especially, that being at home with nowhere to go is my favorite place to be and I strive for that in every day life now as much as possible.

I WANTED THAT JOB AND I GOT IT

Here I am 4 months into the job, set up on my own clinics on a Monday morning and currently on the train to Chester doing my clinical exam. We’ve been to London to a Pre-Op conference and I have the privilege to work with the most amazing supportive team. It really is onwards and upwards from here and I’m so proud of myself for how far I’ve come in such a short 3 years.

Last year was a hugely formative 12 months for me, as I managed to shift my work and career towards where I want to go, whilst still finding the time and money to enjoy myself. I felt myself trust my instincts again after a period of a few years, where it seemed like every other thought was one of self-doubt. Plus, I really think that I’m beginning to feel totally settled in myself: another win.
