      I understand that what you published (i.e. “made public”) is somewhat revealing. Some people enjoy such courageous vulnerability. Brené Brown is perhaps one of the most prominent of such advocates. In any case, publishing information is a skill, an acquired taste, etc. AFAIK, you are always free to “unpublish” something (i.e. to delete it from your own blog, to increase its “privacy” or something like that). I have no issue with that. Yet you requesting me to change what I choose to publish or not is not appropriate IMHO. Think of all the people who are happy to read and enjoy the things I share.

      Another way to look at it might be to consider a teenager who carves the initials of his (or her) beloved into a tree … and then later decides he (or she) no longer wishes to see those initials in that tree. Should that person be allowed to chop down the tree in order to remove the existence of those initials?
