This post was a little chaotic, but my life has been too. I applied these changes and have been at school for less than a month. I felt more peace in the first week than in my Ohio decision the whole 1 1//2 years I was there. My mentality has changed, and I am proud of my changes. I am more mature than when I started in Ohio and more discerning.

Whenever we fulfill a goal, value comes from two outcomes: changes (usually gains) in resources and satisfaction

Gains in resources don’t have to be monetary — they can be in terms of knowledge and experience. Satisfaction comes from completing goals, and the feeling of that satisfaction differs by where it comes from. The deepest satisfaction comes from satisfying higher-order goals, goals that come from higher values like beauty, truth, and accomplishment.
