    “Do you think it’s easy to be a good person in this world that we’re living?” This was the question from my ever so dramatic friend, Sola. She asked me this after paying less than the original price for the bag she wanted. It was a blue coloured animal skin (You know the type) bag, I’ll admit it was pretty but I never thought she wanted it with the dismissive way she looked at it. Even asking for the price seemed like an unpleasant business for her, by the time Sola was done working the bag lady, she was willing to sell it off to her at a very cheap price. I was shocked! And Sola knows very well how expensive that bag really is.

    Because the goalpost moves. The dream evolves. The flaws deepen in some places and smooth out in others. I’m still becoming — but now I’m doing it on my own terms. With more grace, more humor, and less panic. With fewer apologies and more gratitude. With a little more gray in the beard and a lot more patience in the soul.

    Its all based around my personal experience looking for places to live but exaggerated it so its interesting, just an accurate story of me looking at homes would not be interesting to most people, well I don’t know considering how popular shows like homes under the hammer and grand designs are but no that’s not the genre I’m going for. I want to have a bit of fun showing wacky hijinks about strange landlords/ladies with odd rules or just unusual things I found in accommodation really.

    Usually when I’m talking to a friend, adult, or coworker, I don’t make a lot of eye contact and I stutter on my words. In most of my communication I use humor because I have done that for so long, I find it difficult to stay away. I don’t see anything wrong with using humor because if there was only one way of communicating, I would find it very boring. One form of communication I use a lot is “intrapersonal communication”. Sometimes I don’t like what my inner voice is telling me, but I get the message. One common scenario I have is “oh, this is embarrassing”. Honestly, it’s only embarrassing if you make yourself feel embarrassed. I would love to accomplish all that I can presented to me in this course. At the end, not being nervous to talk in front of people and communicating effectively are two of my main goals. In order for me to achieve this goal, I need to know inside and out what I’m talking about and I need to have fun with it, as long as I take it seriously.
