I really miss having a partner

I am really tired of just being “alone” …I really value my alone time, but I want a partner. I have been doing everything by myself…taking my bike to places to ride it alone…. going to cultural and community “events” alone …volunteering alone… taking classes to learn new things alone… People do things with friends, family or partners – I do them alone.

I would also like to change about my attitude in college. I am not completely sure what I want to do with my life so going to college is a proper option to discover what you want to do. However at the same time I do dislike going to college. Not that the work is hard and I do have great professors but for some reason I do feel a sense of emptiness when I walk towards my college. Likely out of boredom as I don’t really learn during their lectures. I wish there was a mind control machine I would utilize on my professors and counselors to graduate me already but life doesn’t work that way (no disrespect towards my professors and counselor). I also wish there was a time machine to change the mistakes I made of my past. There is something else I would like to change is how to be patient regarding homework. I am obsessed with finishing as soon as I can but at the same time want to be 100 percent correct. Every time I get stuck on an answer you could say I mildly panic due to my obsession with finishing.

Not only that, I also post pictures with my old school friends, in this particular case is a picture of me with my middle school friends after we took our yearbook photo together. Moreover, because the COVID-19 pandemic we are not allowed to travel, so currently I only take selfies and post it on my Instagram. In addition, I don’t only use Instagram feeds to convey my identity, but also the Instagram story and highlights feature. Like I said earlier about posting my travels, I record or snap the places, then I post it on my Instagram story and add it in my highlights.

I think it’s important to not suppress your individuality, as it is what makes you, you. Actively practicing being unapologetically yourself aloud is a great habit to adopt, if for whatever reason it does not come naturally to you. I want to use this blog to talk about anything that I find interesting. If you’ve ever heard my voice, it’s extremely monotone. Sometimes I get told that I seem very nonchalant and calm all the time but deep down my sock is wet and there’s a stone in my shoe (I jest). But like everyone, I’m incredibly passionate about the things that I’m passionate about and expressing that passion is important, so why not blog? I presume that writing regularly improves your writing skill, and although nothing is formal about this blog, I would like to get better at writing.
