I am a very anxious person but I pretend to be relaxed so I don’t get judged. I am also afraid of judgment. I feel invisible to everyone I’ve ever met. I love to sleep because it makes me feel at peace. I get along with people who are older than me and I wish I knew why. I am terrified of change but I want change so badly. I am insecure about my body just like every other teenage girl.

I work mostly from home to write books and work on my art. Since (officially) July of 2024, with a couple art markets in May to test out the waters, I’ve been a full-time artist and writer. I have several hours a day to work on future books and I am creating art to sell online and at local art markets. This idea first started as a few months off, but I am going to continue it, at least until summer, to see if I can keep expand the growth I’ve seen in the past few months.

Embrace work-life balance and eschew workaholism. Like I said above, my current role is very supportive in terms of work-life balance. Meanwhile, my new mom efficiency (gotta get as much done in 30min in case the nap is only that long!) means I’m able to get a lot done in a short amount of time daily. But my American workaholic brain is having a hard time letting go of the metric of “hours worked” as equivalent to productivity and success. This year, I want to work on rewiring that part of my brain.

In the future I would really like to work for a AAA company making 3D assets for different games. I really love making props so I would like my job to involve that but if I come to enjoy other aspects of 3D art it would be great to work on those. I would love to learn all about the features of Maya and hone my skills by learning new tools and how to use custom scripts for things that aren’t built-in to Maya. I think it would be fun to work on indie projects but most indie games will not be 3D so my skills would not be very useful.
