I Want To Get Off

This week, I have barely left home, other than the school run and a walk today. I haven’t seen many people. I don’t want to go back to doing that again, I struggled to leave home after the lockdowns, and its a very lonely situation to be in. My thoughts have turned a little dark, when that starts, I get stuck in a cycle that is hard to get out of.

As a teenager and young adult, I wanted to be a writer [but] it became apparent that I did not have the dedication or talent to become a published author

[Stories] have been told through the generations and because they focus on human emotions and failings they are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago

I want someone who can handle my chaos without trying to shrink it

I was trying to convince myself I was happy, that I was where I wanted to be, where I should be — despite every instinct in my body telling me otherwise
