I don’t have the energy or the time to do all the things I need to do, all the things I want to do, and so inevitably, I have to prioritize and things don’t get done

I feel as though my life has built specifically to this point. There’s an urgency I can feel in my body; it’s been there for a long time and I think it’s made of a lot of different things, but right now it feels like everything I’ve ever been through has turned to poetry in my blood and I just need to get it all out and onto the fucking page. Some of it is trauma pushing its way to the surface. Some of it is the result of therapy and trying to heal the trauma. Some of it is a rush of energy in the aftermath of graduation. But all of it feels like a ton of poetry crawling around inside of me, waiting to get free.

    1. Hi Tut 🙂

I checked out your blog, too! I especially like this line from your “Preface” post: “Whether “around the corner” seems far or close to us, our life is ours to walk in as we please.”

For a long time after I started using WordPress, I would wonder about the difference between categories and tags. There is actually a very obvious difference: Tags are created “on the fly” and can be chosen freely by authors; Categories are “menu” -style list authors can choose from, and are set up by admins (and maybe editors? I can’t remember exactly). So categories are more about the *architecture* of a site, tags are more about the particular content of an individual post. It’s a nuance that I had to spend a lot of time thinking about before the coin finally dropped! 😛

I try to write short blog posts, but seem to have no problem whatsoever talking endlessly in comments! 😉

      🙂 Norbert

      1. Hi Norbert, thank you for your comment and for taking the time to read. And also explain. I’m happy you like what I write and I will look further into the categories to make navigation easier 😊
