I wanted my son to know he would never be restricted by anything, and I would be there for him no matter where his adventures took him

I am by no means a fantastic artist, but I pulled from the hours of hanging with my grandmother and have created an “Adventure Awaits” painting every year since. My grandmother created many amazing paintings throughout her life and seeing them means everything to me, especially now that she is no longer with us. I am hopeful the paintings I create will hold a special place in my son’s heart.

My hiatus helped me see how much I’ve come to love doing art, how much I want to put paint on my canvases, how much I want to play with new techniques and learn new ways to express myself through this wondrous thing we call art

We may never agree on what is art, what isn’t art, or why it matters. But as artists, I think we can definitely agree that art is meaningful to us. We all need art in our life. Sometimes we may need to step away for one reason or another, but we’ll always come back to art.

I want to engage with others about my art and encourage making in any medium

Keywords: Life

I am messy, I half finish projects, I have too many ideas and I find it hard to focus sometimes. I get creative block, I buy craft materials because they look fun and don’t necessarily have a plan for them. But I do push myself to get better. I explore ideas through my art and craft projects. I want to learn new techniques and try a different way of making something.

I want to be able [to] learn through working and people around me

I have been a student at Noroff before and I got to learn quite alot about website development (Front-End). This was a very challenging but interesting journey that I went through and I do not regret any of it! I learned quite alot and I was able to understand what is behind the websites that we see almost every day. The reason to why I chose Graphic Design through Noroff is because I know that I was satisfied with the course I took earlier and Noroff teaches relevant stuff for their students. I was introduced to Noroff through an education exhibition when I was looking for places to study after I graduated.
