I want Dans Mon Crane to be all about my voice. What does that look like? It’s a space where lots of my [interests] meet and then expand into other directions. It’s a space where my archaeological background comes into play, where ritual and art witchery is centered, where Shadow Work and being brave is encouraged, where one month we can talk about vampires both from a fictional perspective and a scientific one and the next month talk about my favorite armour in Skyrim. i feel like damn all these years went by with my same goals every year but didn’t achieve all of that yet because real life gave so much stress, looking at all the things i didn’t have instead of looking for a change and have positive thoughts. Now that i’m a mom life hits different, more motivated than ever, the timing is now. I’ve waited too long for this, but now I choose Happiness, I choose to show my daughter that it’s never too late to go after what you truly want in life and that you can achieve everything you put your mind too. I’m so ready for The next chapter and to show the world my creative mind.

As a writer, I used the rather loose excuse that any additional experience was good, ultimately beneficial to my skill as a writer. Putting aside the general point that having a wide range of interests is generally beneficial for any lifestyle or career, it took me some time to realise that many of my interests related to one thing, that I ultimately want to express through my writing.

I am messy, I half finish projects, I have too many ideas and I find it hard to focus sometimes. I get creative block, I buy craft materials because they look fun and don’t necessarily have a plan for them. But I do push myself to get better. I explore ideas through my art and craft projects. I want to learn new techniques and try a different way of making something.
