Then, I’d like to follow through on my promises. One to myself, to finish my Yoga Instructor Certification.

Even now, there have been days when I’ve struggled with motivation, lost momentum, or found it difficult to maintain the discipline to continue now that I’ve graduated. Yet, somehow, I’m still going strong.

During my first month at home, it felt like everything and nothing happened at the same time. There is so much I want to say, but this is kind of a (long) catch-up of my thoughts and feelings from this past month. I feel like I haven’t made a strong dent in my goals, and I also know that I’m still taking time to be myself after such a busy year. After all, this is just life now. I’m continuing to be flexible and taking things at my own pace.

There was a free speech wall where students could write whatever they wanted (so long as it wasn’t hate speech), gender neutral bathrooms, and every girl we encountered had either a shaved and/or pink head, a crop top, or combat boots, or some combination thereof. We knew that I belonged there.

You are now in college, trying hard to survive. It is honestly pretty funny that you are struggling in college knowing that you have always done well with your studies. I know you don’t really know what you want to be growing up, I too don’t. I have not yet felt strongly for a certain career path but right now, we are trying our best to be an engineer, which is actually pretty bold for a shy kid. All things aside, I am really proud that we have come along this far. We are just a few years away from graduating and actually becoming adults. Until then, I am going to continue to figure out what works the best for us, for our happiness and for our dreams. I love you buddy!

I’m not entirely sure. A lot is still up in the air at this point! I’m only 21! I don’t even know what city I want to live in! But, there are some things I do know about my future, and in this blog post I’m going to go through those (mostly to make myself feel better!).
