I didn’t know much about the gravity of the issue that is ocean pollution before entering this alternative project and I was shocked to learn of how horrible this problem has gotten. I hope, my experience in this project conveys some of the messages that I wish more people would be conscious of. I think that the main problem with ocean pollution is that people aren’t aware of the consequences their actions can have on the environment, and how perhaps a decision they make now–disposing of a plastic item inappropriately, for example–can have extreme repercussions later.

Help those struggling and suffering to know that they aren’t alone. Help partners hope, find support, grow, laugh, and enjoy. Most of all, I want to, from one Defence partner to another, share ‘how’ to thrive and emerge stronger during change, challenges and #defencelife. Because thriving should be the goal, not surviving. Yet far too many of us are just surviving. And that shouldn’t be the post!

There’s a lot of things that I want to share when it comes to pageantry and this time I want to use my YouTube channel as a platform to inspire young girls who want to be a beauty queen. I want to share with them the steps that might help them to awake the queen inside them. Also, I want to give some advice to those women who can’t pursue their dreams because of some personal issues. I want to show to the world that in spite of the pandemic, there’s still a chance for us to dream.

I grew up in a small village in the South-West called Stoborough. Whilst I ended up branching out to the bigger areas such as Poole and Bournemouth, Stoborough will always have a special place in my heart because it played a massive role in the events that made me who I am today. It made me realise that, as crease as it sounds, there’s nothing stronger than people working together to make sure we’re all doing OK. Journalism presents me with the opportunity to do that every day and gives me the opportunity to do the right thing for the people who want to get their stories heard.

Almost every creative type I know, no matter the medium, has experienced a slump over the last half year. With so many things not operating in the normal way it is not a stretch to understand that energy once devoted to creative thought and activity is being used up in other ways. Understanding this is not our personal fault can help us to be less hard on ourselves but it doesn’t get us going again. After many years of studying creativity, and fighting my way back from many major and minor slumps myself I have found that there is no one single strategy that works all the time.
